If your drivers license expires do you have to take both the written and driving tests again to get your drivers license reinstated?

If your drivers license has been expired for 1 year or more then you'll be required to take the written test as well as the driving test again to get a new drivers license.

Never let it expire. Always renew your drivers license before it expires to save having to go through the hassle of getting it again by having to redo all the tests over again.
