Some of the most common side effects of Prozac are sleep disturbances, insomnia, strange dreams, vision changes, vision problems, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, tremors, shaking, feeling nervous or anxious, tired feeling, yawning, weakness, pain, upset stomach, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hot flashes and sweating.

If you experience any of those side effects when taking Prozac and they don't go away within a week or two then speak with your doctor.

Prozac can sometimes be highly addictive to some people just like all other medications can be highly addictive.

However officially Prozac is not considered to be highly addictive and it's a pretty safe medication for treating anxiety and depression.

Prozac medication is not a narcotic or a controlled substance.

Prozac which is also known as fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) medication.

Prozac can make you tired so when you're first taking the Prozac you should not drive, operate machinery etc until you find out if you can stay awake when taking the Prozac.

Some people experience side effects when taking certain medications while other people don't experience any side effects.
