Cloth diapers do save some money but the cloth diapers also require more work which really cancels out any of the savings that you would get with cloth diapers.

Disposable diapers are cheaper now than they used to be and you buy cheaper brands of diapers that work out to around $1.00 to $2.00 per day in cost to diaper your baby or toddler.

I make around $20.00 per hour and I would only be saving that $2.00 per day and waste more time cleaning cloth diapers.

I make more in an hour of work than $2.00 so for me using disposable diapers is much better than cloth diapers.

Now if you stay home and have no job and have the time to clean the cloth diapers then it could be worth it.

But I would not want to clean diapers after changing them.

Disposable diapers are healthier for kids skin as well because the disposable diapers absorb the urine and hold it away from the child's skin so they feel drier.

Clot diapers keep the child's skin wet.

Although cloth diapers can help with potty training I would rather my child wear disposable diapers.
