Anxiety and Fear are similar but not the same.

Fear is a known or understood threat, and anxiety occurs from an unknown or poorly defined threat.

The best way to calm down anxiety and calm down when you're having a panic attack is to try to relax and breath slowly.

If you have a paper bag you can breathe into the paper bag which can help with anxiety and panic attacks and try rocking back and forth which can calm you as well.

Count to 10 slowly and try holding onto a pillow or Teddy Bear.

Limit Alcohol and Caffeine as much as possible as the Caffeine and alcohol can sometimes trigger panic attacks.
