Why do people try to prevent suicide?

I believe that if someone has thought the suicide through that they should be able to commit suicide?

It's the person who has to live in this hell of a world that we are born into.

Forcing someone to live a life they hate is actually wrong and selfish and putting the person in a mental hospital is even more wrong.

If a person wants to die then they should have a right to end their life when they see fit even if it's a kid.

A person does have the right to die when they want too.

However suicide should always be prevented or at least something should be done to try and prevent it especially with kids.

Kids should also have a choice in the matter but they are not thinking properly and death is permanent and they may not fully understand that this is the only life they get.

I don't believe in an afterlife and I used to be suicidal as a kid and tried to take my own life by hanging myself but luckily the rope snapped and I fell to the ground.

I thought that things would be bad all my life and I was bullied as a kid and now I'm an adult with wonderful children of my own.

My life is a lot better now and I'm glad I didn't get killed at age 10 when I tried to hang myself.

So yes people should have a right to die but they should think it through as the problems can be temporary and we are gonna all die eventually so why do it much sooner?
