Having a runny nose is most commonly a symptom of the regular cold virus or flu and not Covid-19.

Most people who have had Covid-19 don't have a runny nose or sneezing but some people have had a runny nose along with the sneezing when they had Covid-19 but not always.

Sneezing can be a symptom of the coronavirus disease although not always.

Sneezing usually occurs though when allergies flare up or with a cold or flu virus so you could be getting a simple cold virus or flu virus instead of coronavirus.

Other symptoms of the coronavirus disease are fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, and achiness.

Covid-19 and the Flu are different strains of viruses and COVID-19 spreads more easily than the flu and also causes more serious illnesses in some people.

When a person has Covid-19 It can also take longer before people show symptoms and people can be contagious for longer.

Covid-19 is the SARS virus and the Covid-19 virus spreads by respiratory droplets that are released when someone with the virus coughs, sneezes, breathes, sings or talks.

The flu virus is caused by two different types of viruses and you can catch it at anytime of the year although most commonly the flu virus comes around in winter.

There are two main types of influenza (flu) virus: Types A and B.

The influenza A and B viruses that routinely spread in people (human influenza viruses) are responsible for seasonal flu epidemics each year.

Covid-19 and Influenza (Flu) are similar but they are entirely different viruses and the Covid-19 virus or disease can cause more serious health issues and cause death quicker than the Flu.

The signs and symptoms of the coronavirus disease are similar to the flu virus symptoms.

Most common signs and symptoms of the coronavirus disease are Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose,Nausea or vomiting and Diarrhea.

However the coronavirus disease is different than the flu and for older people who have compromised immune systems or other health issues the coronavirus disease can be more serious than the flu.

For most healthy people the Covid-19 or Coronavirus disease or virus is not much worse than the flu.

However in rare cases the Covid-19 virus can lead to death due to it causing other serious health issues.

If you're overall healthy then you should easily recover from Covid-19 but we should still take Covid-19 serious.
