It's not always cold in Finland but during the winter months it is pretty cold in Finland.

Winters in Finland are very cold and they get quite a bit of snow as well.

However in summer the summertime temperatures are around 70 F degrees so it does not get really hot in Finland in the summer and the summertime temperatures in Finland are actually pretty nice.

The country of Finland is a largely flat country and Finland's Winters are long and cold throughout the country.

Winter in Finland lasts almost five months even in Helsinki Finland, which lies in the far south.

There, the temperature remains almost constantly around or below freezing (0 °C or 32 °F) from mid-November to late March.

So while Finland is still very cold in the winter it's not as cold as someplace such as Alaska.

Alaska is much colder and darker than Finland.

I've visited Finland before and it's a nice place to visit but I would not want to live there as it's pretty dark in the winter months.
