You should bandage a burn to protect the burned area and promote healing.

Bandaging a burn is a good thing because it keeps the air off the burned area and helps promote healing of the burned skin and also protects the blistered skin and reduces the pain from the burn.

Bandage the burned skin with some gauze medical wrap and wrap it loosely around the burn.

You can help a burn heal fast at home by applying some Vaseline or petroleum jelly to the burn and also put some hydrogen peroxide on the burn after it's cooled off to prevent further infection of the burn.

Taking some aspirin can help with the pain.

Most burns fully heal within a few weeks to a month.

Vaseline or other petroleum jelly is good for soothing and healing a burn.

You can apply some Vaseline or even Aloe Vera Gel to the burn to soothe it, stop the burn from stinging and promote the healing of the burn.

Also if your burn gets blisters do not pop the blisters as it could lead to infection.

Most burns can be treated at home by applying some cool water to the burn and running the burn under cool water, apply a cool compress, apply some butter, mayonnaise, Aloe Vera Gel, Lotion and take some pain medicine.

A 1st degree burn is a burn that only affects the outer layer of the skin and also cause pain, redness, and swelling.

2nd degree burns are more serious than 1st degree burns and affect both the outer and underlying layer of skin and also cause pain, redness, swelling, and blistering.

Most 1st degree burns heal within 7 days to 10 days.

To get a burn to stop stinging you can apply some cool water, a cool compress, take over the counter pain relievers, apply some honey to the burn, apply some mayonnaise to the burn, apply some butter to the burn and also antibiotic ointments and Aloe Vera are good for helping to stop the stinging of a burn.

When a burn still hurts you can apply some cool water to the burn and apply some soothing lotion to the burn to help ease the pain.

Also take some aspirin or other pain medicine which can help ease the pain of the burn.

The burn pain will eventually go away on it's own within 2 weeks or less and although the pain is usually sometimes unbearable it will go away and stop being painful.

The reason burns to the skin are so painful is the heat from the burning of the skin has destroyed skin cells.

A burn heals up like a cut heals up and a blister usually forms and under it, white blood cells arrive to attack the bacteria and a new layer of skin grows in from the edges of the burn.

Burn pain may last for a few days to as long as 1 to 2 weeks depending on how bad the burn is.

Most burn pain will start going away though within 2 to 4 days and then fully go away within a week or two but some burn pain may go away within a day or two if it's a less severe burn.

Burns usually heal within 1 week to 2 weeks if it's a less severe burn.

Longer burns may take a month or 2 months to fully heal after you get burned.

Some burns require medical treatment and other burns you just cool off the area and then wrap it in some gauze or allow it to breathe if it's not bleeding.

Applying some hydrogen peroxide to the burn can help keep bacteria and infections away and can also help promote healing of the burn.

The length of time it takes for a burn to heal depends on how severe the burn is.

For less severe burns the burn should heal within 2 to 4 weeks and it should scab over and the burn should feel better.

For more severe burns it may take a few months or even 6 months or so for the burn to fully heal and if it's a really severe burn it requires medical treatment for it to heal.

Some more severe burns can cause infection so you need a really severe burn to be treated by the doctor or hospital.

I've had small burns take a few weeks to start healing and then after 4 weeks the burn was healed up and no longer painful.
