Cleaning out a coffee grinder is pretty easy.
The way I clean out my coffee grinder is to mix a little vinegar with some water and then use a rag to dip into the vinegar and water.
Then I wipe down the inside of the coffee grinder with the vinegar and water and then rinse it out with the handheld sprayer on the kitchen sink.
Then I turn the coffee grinder upside down in my dish rack to let it dry.
You can also use a baby bottle brush to clean the coffee grinder which is actually a bit safer than sticking your hands and fingers near the blades.
But if you use a rag you need to be careful not to cut yourself.
Yes you do need to clean your coffee grinder out at least once per month or more depending on how often you use the coffee grinder.

It also makes your coffee taste bad or at least less fresh when you don't have a clean coffee grinder.
I use a little vinegar and water to clean out my coffee grinder at least once per week.
