The best deterrents for mosquitoes are Lemon Eucalyptus Oil, Garlic, Citronella Oil, Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Greek catnip oil, Thyme Oil and Cinnamon Oil.

Use of a fan is also great to keep mosquitoes away from you and also make sure to empty any standing water to keep mosquitoes from breeding in those areas as well.

To keep mosquitoes from biting you you can wear some garlic on a necklace around your neck.

Or rub your skin with some garlic and even eating garlic can help keep mosquitoes from biting you and keep the mosquitoes away from you.

When you eat garlic and sweat out the garlic the garlic smell will be in your sweat and then when the mosquitoes smell that garlic smell through the sweat they will stay away from you.

You can also use fans to keep mosquitoes away from you outside which works for me.

When I want to sit outside on my porch and keep mosquitoes away I will use a couple of oscillating fans to blow the mosquitoes away from me.

The fans keep me cool and keep the mosquitoes as well as flies away.

Wear light colored clothing and long sleeves to prevent the mosquitoes from getting to your skin and use some mosquito repellent and some Citronella candles.

I also recommend getting a mosquito magnet device that uses propane to kill mosquitoes and it works great.

I have one of those and it kills a lot of mosquitoes.
