We celebrate birthdays because the person who has a birthday has made it through another year alive.

I don't really see the point in celebrating birthdays now that I'm an adult and I used to actually hate that my parents would make such a big deal and have a big birthday party for me as a kid.

I liked the presents for my birthday but hated celebrating it then as well.

All I wanted to do is be left alone during my birthday.

We are celebrating that we are getting another year old and another year closer to our graves.

I think it should actually be called an anniversary of the day we were born because our birthday is the day we were born.

We cannot really have another birthday.

I always call birthdays an anniversary which is really what it is.

Most adults don't really care to celebrate their birthdays although some do.

It's to celebrate another year of the persons life.

I hate birthday parties myself and no longer longer celebrate them anymore now as an adult.

I used to love the birthday parties as a kid but now I hate getting older and see no reason to celebrate that I'm one more year closer to dying.
