Hormonal headaches can be stopped by increasing your estrogen levels by consuming foods high in estrogen, taking estrogen supplements etc.

Hormonal headaches most commonly occur in females on their period due to low estrogen levels and by increasing those estrogen levels your hormonal headaches should stop.

The best natural remedy for menstrual migraines is to consume some black cohosh.

Black Cohosh is black bugbane, black snakeroot, or fairy candle which is a species of flowering plant of the family Ranunculaceae.

The black cohosh can increase your estrogen levels and even taking estrogen supplements can help get rid of and prevent menstrual migraines.

You can also eat foods high in estrogen such as sesame seeds, Flax Seeds, Linseeds, Garlic, Soy beans, Tofu and Hummus.

This is all normal and usually nothing to worry about.

When you have menstrual migraines or period headaches you can help relieve the pain of the menstrual migraine by taking some pain reliever such as Aleve or Aspirin.

When I have a menstrual migraine I take some Aspirin and within a few hours of taking the Aspirin the migraine typically goes away.

If you wait it out it can take a week or two weeks for the menstrual migraine to fully go away.

But taking the aspirin can help relieve the headache much faster.

If the menstrual headache does not go away within a week or so or gets worse then see a doctor about it.

However most menstrual headaches as well as other headaches are just painful and nothing to worry about.
