When a woman has stage 1 ovarian cancer the stage one cancer is usually treated through surgery and usually stage one ovarian cancer requires no chemo but for some woman they may need chemo for the stage 1 ovarian cancer.
Stage 1 ovarian cancer means that the ovarian cancer is only in the ovaries and not anywhere else.
Ovarian Cancer can be treated and cured if caught in time.
My mother had been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and she was cured of it and is still doing good 15 years later.
If the Ovarian Cancer had spread too far though then she would've died from it.
