When your baby is choking after feeding or during feeding it's usually because the baby is getting too much milk coming into their mouth.

If you're breastfeeding it can be that your breast milk is flowing too fast into the babies mouth and causing them to choke or causing them to choke after feeding.

If you're bottle feeding the baby then it can be caused by the nipple hole being too large and you may need a smaller flow nipple.

Most bottle nipples are the correct size for your baby but if your baby is younger you may need a lower flowing baby bottle nipple.

When it comes to breastfeeding If you have an overactive or forceful let down, this release happens too fast for the baby to swallow the milk.

Your baby may also have some throat issues and swallowing issues so if your baby chokes often when you bottle feed them or breastfeed them then take them to the doctor to get checked out.

Normally a baby should not choke when feeding.
