Which is better bagging leaves vs mulching?

Which is better should you bag up leaves or mulch them?

Mulching the leaves on your lawn with your lawn mower is a good thing to do for your lawn. Leaving the leaves mulched on your lawn helps your fertilize your grass.

Mulching your leaves up and leaving them on the ground is good for your grass.

I always mulch my leaves with my riding lawn mower and leave the mulched leaves on the ground.
