70 PSI is a good water pressure and not considered to be too high.

However most normal residential water pressures range from 40 PSI to 55 PSI but it's okay for water pressure to be 70 PSI.

However you don't want water pressure above 75 PSI for residential use as it can damage plumbing and damage washing machines, dishwashers etc and lead to leaks.

Building and plumbing codes say that the water pressure in a residential home cannot be above 80 PSI.

If your water pressure is above 80 PSI then you need a water pressure regulator so that you can turn down your water pressure.

Water pressures above 80 PSI can blow out toilet valves, dishwashers, faucets and burs some types of water piping.

So you don't want the water pressure to be above 80 PSI.
