Pandas can eat chocolate.

Chocolate is a very enjoyable food for Pandas just like it is for humans and Chocolate does have some health benefits for both Pandas and Humans.

In Captivity Pandas eat a wide variety of food which helps the pandas get the vitamins and nutrients they need and the pandas meals include things such as ice, meat, egg, carrot, fruit, potato, milk, honey, bread as well as bamboo.

Pandas can jump but not all that high.

I have seen a panda jump before and from my guess the panda jumped at least a few feet when the panda did jump.

A panda may be able to jump higher than a few feet but I only saw it jump a few feet.

They rarely jump and are pretty lazy but the panda does have the ability to jump when they need too or want too.

Pandas are pretty lazy creatures.

Pandas rarely move unless they need too and when pandas do move they move around slowly sorta like a sloth.

Although the panda usually moves faster than a sloth they are still pretty lazy and like to lay around or sit around doing not much of anything unless they need too.

China does own all the pandas in the world.

Most pandas will reside in China and it's rare to see a panda in the USA or outside of China.

The Chinese Government owns all the pandas and if a Zoo wants to rent a Panda they will pay $1 million dollars per year for renting the Panda from the Chinese Government.

American zoos will shell out up to $1 million a year to rent just one Panda and most of the USA Zoos will sign 10-year "panda diplomacy" contract, and if any baby cubs are born, they pay an additional one-time $400,000 baby tax.

Pandas are not dangerous unless they are provoked or they see you as a threat.

As long as you keep your distance from the Panda and just observe them from at least 10 feet or more away then the panda is unlikely to want to harm you.

Most panda attacks happen because the panda was either annoyed, seen the person as a threat or they were provoked.

Pandas are usually pretty gentle and loving creatures but still you should never approach a wild panda.

Pandas are pretty playful animals and they are most playful when they are young.

Still you should never approach a wild panda although they may want to play with you.

A panda would have to get to know you really good first and then want to play with you.

The panda does like to play with things such as toys, piles of ice, sawdust and bamboo with food inside.

There have been a few cases of Pandas attacking a human.

Although it's rare that Pandas attack humans and they usually have to be provoked to attack the human or someone has to be annoying them etc.

Between the years of September 2006 to June 2009 there have been three cases of attacks on humans from Pandas in Zoos.

Most Pandas are pretty loving and gentle though but you should never approach a wild panda because they may see you as a threat and attack.

Observe the pandas at a distance.

Some Pandas will kill their own babies if they are deformed or have other health issues.

Also some pandas have accidentally killed their own babies while sitting down as there was one panda that had accidentally crushed the baby panda.

Most Pandas won't kill their own babies though but sometimes they do.

Also Pandas can and do have twins.

Over half of the panda births do result in the panda giving birth to twin pandas so it's a very high chance that the panda will give birth to twin baby pandas.

Some Pandas only give birth to one baby Panda and sometimes they give birth to twin pandas.

Most Pandas and especially Giant Pandas will actually sadly abandon the baby pandas if she gives birth to twin Pandas.

So it's rare that the twin pandas survive unless they get taken care of somehow.

There are a few Pandas that are in a US Zoo.

The two pandas are giant pandas that live in the Washington DC Zoo.

Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are the two giant pandas that have been living in and residing in the Washington DC Zoo for many years.

When it comes to Pandas and Zoos in the USA it can be hard to find Zoos that do have Pandas in them but outside the USA such as China you may find more Pandas.

China has most of the Pandas but the USA has a few.

Most Pandas however reside and live outside the USA.

China is the country where most of the Pandas live and wild pandas live only in remote, mountainous regions in central China.

China is where most Pandas live because of the high bamboo forests which are cool and wet which is just how the pandas like it.
