Slapstick Comedy refers to comedy in which the actor exaggerates the scenes.

When it comes to Slapstick comedy the Slapstick humor and acting is a style of humor involving exaggerated physical activity that exceeds the boundaries of normal physical comedy.

Slapstick comedy and acting may involve both intentional violence and violence by mishap, often resulting from inept use of props such as saws and ladders.

Charlie Chaplain would be a good example of an actor using slapstick humor and it can be intentional or by accident which makes things even more funny.

Sometimes an actor who does slapstick comedy may not be intending to do something but by accident it happens and it results in laughter from the audience.
