When the clocks go back for daylight savings time we actually lose an hour of sleep.

The time in the day and night is actually the same hours and we don't really gain any time but because of the clocks going back an hour we get an hour less sleep until our bodies adjust to the new time.

Eventually we get the same amount of sleep and what you have to do is go to bed an hour earlier to wake up at the same time.

So just make sure you go to bed one hour earlier to avoid losing that hour of sleep.

During the time when we set our clocks forward we usually gain that hour of sleep back but then once we adjust out body clock and sleeping schedule again we get the same hours of sleep.

I hate daylight savings time and wish we would just leave the clocks at the same time all the time.

It makes no sense to change the clocks and just causes a lot of confusion and trouble.
