Yes you can Bonsai a maple tree.

The Japanese Maple Tree makes for a good tree to turn into a Bonsai maple tree.

There's videos on Youtube showing how to bonsai a maple tree and it's pretty easy to do.

The Japanese Maple Tree is the perfect maple tree to make a Bonsai Tree out of because the as the Japanese Maple matures it's leaves undergo color changes and then turn into a deep red color.

Also the branches of the Japanese Maple Tree are very flexible making it easy to turn the tree into a Bonsai and do Bonsai Training with.

To grow a Bonsai Tree Indoors you need to have a sunlight roof over the Bonsai Tree or have the Bonsai Tree placed near a window that gets a lot of natural sunlight.

Bonsai Trees require a lot of direct sunlight to thrive and grow properly and without enough sunlight the Bonsai Tree can die or at least the trees leaves can be damaged.

Bonsai Trees are best grown outdoors where it can get plenty of sunlight but you can grow them indoors as long as you can have good growing lights or natural sunlight that is able to get to the Bonsai Tree.

Bonsai Trees are so expensive because some types of Bonsai Trees are harder to grow than others and some Bonsai Trees are more rare than others as well.

Also the pots and some tools uses to care for Bonsai Trees are often handmade which can make them more expensive and some of them can cost thousands of dollars.

For a beginner Bonsai Trees and Bonsai Plants are hard to take care of.

However as you get used to and learn about taking care of the Bonsai Tree or Bonsai Plants they are pretty easy to take care of.

The Bonsai Plant or Bonsai Tree is not as hard to take care of as some people think.

There's lots of information online on how to care for Bonsai Trees.

Bonsai trees do need sunlight.

For bonsai trees to grow properly and thrive the bonsai tree needs to be in direct sunlight.

Without direct sunlight and enough sunlight the bonsai trees can die and be damaged.

To grow properly and prevent damage to the Bonsai Tree the Bonsai Tree needs at least 5 to 6 hours of sunlight whether indoors or outdoors.

If you have a Bonsai Tree indoors you should place it near a window where it can get direct sunlight on the tree through the window.

Or if you cannot do that use a grow light to help provide some light to it.

But natural sunlight is much better for the Bonsai Tree.
