When a person is at least 40 to 50 lbs overweight then they are considered to be obese.

If you're 100 lbs overweight then you're considered to be morbidly obese.

Adults with a BMI of 30 to 39.9 are considered obese.

Adults with a BMI greater than or equal to 40 are considered extremely obese.

Anyone more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms) overweight is considered morbidly obese

For most adults the average healthy weight is between 130 to 150 lbs of weight but if you weigh more than 150 lbs then you are usually overweight.

Being obese or weighing to much can lead to health issues and may also shorten your life expectancy.

Obese people have a higher risk of heart disease, heart attacks, strokes and even death.
