Your brain does work faster when you sleep.

During sleep your brain is working faster and when your brain is working faster for sleeping the brain is recharging and repairing itself.

Your body is also healing and recharging and your body is also repairing itself.

Sleeping is like recharging a battery for something so that you can work properly the next day.

Your brain will also work much better and much faster the next day when you wake up after a full nights rest.

The average time it takes a person to fall asleep is between 10 to 20 minutes once their head hits the pillow.

However for some people it can take as long as 30 to 40 minutes for them to fall asleep.

If it takes you longer than 40 minutes to fall asleep then you likely are suffering from insomnia which keeps your brain from shutting down at night.

With Insomnia you can be wide awake and not be able to drift off to sleep and your sleep hormones can be out of balance.

if you have trouble sleeping you may need to take some Melatonin or other sleep medicines.

Sleep is very important to your health and well being.

When I lay down at night I usually fall asleep within 10 to 15 minutes unless my insomnia is causing me to stay awake.

In that case I have to take some sleep medicine to get the needed sleep.
