The way Pigeons have sex is that the female Pigeon moves her tail to the side and the male Pigeon gets behind her.

Pigeons have sex through use of their small protrusions known as "cocacal protuberances."

The Pigeons perform their sex through touching each other's protrusions and insemination occurs quickly.

The sex the pigeons have is different from other animals and including humans because the male pigeon does not have a penis like humans do.

So the pigeons only have to touch each others protrusions to inseminate and then later the female pigeon gives birth.

Pigeons lay eggs after 12 days of them having the sex.

Female Pigeons lay 1 to 3 (usually 2) white eggs which hatch after 18 days.

Helpless, with sparse yellow or white down the Pigeon Chicks fledge (leave the nest) in 25-32 days (45 days in midwinter).

The male Pigeon provides nesting material and guards the female and the nest.
