Residual Pay is pay that an employee or someone gets for continued use of the work they provided.

For example if you're actor and you acted in a TV show or movie and then you got your pay for the hours and work you worked in the TV show or movie then you would get that pay and then later on you would continue getting residual pay.

If your TV Show or Movie is played on TV then you would get residual pay for it.

Residual pay or residual  income is when you continue to get paid after the work is done.

This includes royalties from books, movies, or songs etc.

Another form of residual pay or residual income is if you make Youtube videos and then you continue making money off of Youtube advertisement revenue for those videos you made months and even years ago.

Or if you started a website or blog with affiliate advertisements or Google Adsense etc then you would make Residual Pay or Residual Income from blogging years before or from your website.

It's basically payment or money that comes in for work you've done before whether or not you continue to do work.
