The animals that most commonly carry trichinosis are bears, wild felines, foxes, dogs, wolf, horses, seal, and walruses.

Pork such as pigs and hogs can sometimes carry trichinosis as well but it's not as common for pork and hogs and pigs to carry trichinosis as other animals.

A person can become infected with Trichinosis from eating raw or undercooked meat that contains the roundworm larvae that leads to Trichinosis.

If you cook the meat all the way through and bring the meat up to a high enough temperature then you should not get infected with the Trichinosis.

The heat when hot enough kills the Larvae that causes Trichinosis.

The Trichinosis which is also known as trichinellosis, is a parasitic disease that is caused by roundworms of the Trichinella type.

During the initial infection of Trichinosis, invasion of the intestines can result in diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.
