He is 12 months old and sleeps through the night. However he is a light sleeper and so when I change him he wakes up. So whats the maximum time i can leave his diaper on (its only pee and no poop).

You can leave him in the same wet diaper all night. Especially if its Pampers. They absorb very well. Just rub some vaseline on his diaper area so that the wetness doesn't touch his skin. And if he wakes up on his own at any time, change his diaper first thing.

No need to wake him up to change his wet diaper at night.

I agree with the other poster. A diaper can be left on  your toddler all night. But during the day you should change the diaper at least every 2 hours.

No way would I leave my kid in a wet diaper just to save money during the day. At night it's a different story. Be sure to put on Diaper Rash cream at night to prevent diaper rash.
