Can I put used disposable baby diapers in my wood stove to burn them and dispose of them?

Disposable baby diapers will burn in a wood stove.

I use a wood burning stove in the winter time and when it's going I burn my toddlers used diapers in the wood stove.

I have 2 kids in diapers full time right now and one is an 14 month old boy and the other kid in diapers is a 2 and 1/2 year old boy.

They are both in diapers full time and so our trash can will fill up quickly which leaves no room for other trash so when I can I burn the diapers in the wood stove.

I've tried burning the diapers in a burn barrel but they would not burn really good but since the inside of a wood stove is so hot the diapers melt and then burn even when wet.

It's a quick easy way to dispose of the diapers.

I don't burn a lot of them at a time but when I change both my kids diapers I immediately take the uses diapers over and put them into the wood stove and within about 10 to 20 minutes the disposable diapers are burned down to ashes.

The baby diapers will burn in the wood stove as long as you have the wood stove going hot enough.

Also just put one diaper in the wood stove at one time so that it does not put out the fire as the wet diaper will need to dry out first from the heat of the wood stove and the fire.

I have burned baby diapers and adult diapers as well in my wood stove too when it's winter time and they burn okay.

Another idea you could do to dispose of baby diapers is to remove the SAP from the diaper and flush the SAP down the toilet and then burn just the out part of the diaper or throw the outer plastic part of the diaper into the trash and it won't be as noticeable.
