No.

Urinary incontinence or bowel incontinence is not a normal part of aging and not everyone who gets older or old becomes urinary or bowel incontinent.

However you have about an 80 percent to 90 percent chance of being urinary incontinent or bowel incontinent as you age.

My Grandpa lived to be 98 years old and he was never Urinary Incontinent or bowel incontinent and was in good health up until his death.

He had a great mind, was very active and could care for himself.

So not all old people will require diapers or be incontinent or need assisted living or be in a nursing home.

My Grandpa lived at home by himself and died in his sleep.

That's the way he wanted it.

Hopefully I will never become incontinent when I'm old but if I do I will wear diapers for it as it's not that bad.

Urinary incontinence can happen to anyone of any age and even toddlers, children, teens and young adults can be incontinent.

My nephew who is 8 years old is urinary incontinent and cannot control his bladder at all.

He has never been able to hold his pee in ever since he was born so he has had to wear diapers since birth and the doctors said he was born urinary incontinent.

He has to wear diapers full time and will for the rest of his life.

He doesn't seem to mind about wearing diapers and he's been wearing diapers ever since he was born so he's comfortable in them

My 8 year old nephew wears the Gentle Steps Size 7 diapers which I help buy for him because although he had a prescription for diapers from the doctor and the health insurance paid for diapers they provided poor quality diapers for him that leaked.

His mom and dad right now are low on money so I just buy them for him.

He goes through about 3 diapers per day so I buy him about 6 packs of the Gentle Steps Size 7 diapers to make sure he has enough of them.

It comes to around $30.00 per month for me which is not that bad.

Eventually he'll have to wear adult diapers but for now the Gentle Steps Size 7 diapers fit him.
