Will Dawn Dish Soap Kill fleas on a cat?

Yes the dish soap will kill the fleas on your cat and will work on dogs too.

The soap destroys the fleas' exoskeletons, killing them within minutes. Keep in mind though most cats hate water so you might have a fight when you try to give him a bath.
