Strep Throat is caused by bacteria in the throat which is why antibiotics work to kill the bacteria and get rid of the strep throat.

Sore Throats are caused by viruses but Strep Throat is caused by bacteria known as Streptococcal bacteria and the Streptococcal bacteria that causes strep throat is highly contagious and you can spread strep throat to other people so stay home from work or school if you do have strep throat.

It is possible to have strep throat without a fever.

Although fever is a common sign of strep throat and most people do have a fever with strep throat you can have strep throat without a fever.

I have had strep throat even without a fever so it's possible.

Not all cases of strep throat are accompanied with a fever.

Most cases of strep throat lasts for 5 to 7 days before the strep throat goes away on it's own.

You can help get rid of the strep throat sooner by going to the doctor and getting antibiotics for the strep throat.

When taking the antibiotics for the strep throat the strep throat usually goes away within a few days or so and it helps to ease the pain associated with strep throat as well.

Gargling with apple cider vinegar and even gargling with some warm salt water also helps to get rid of sore throat and eases it as well.

When I've had strep throat it went away within 7 days without any medical treatment or antibiotics but the second time I got strep throat I went to the doctor and got antibiotics and the strep throat then cleared up within 4 days.

I also gargled with some apple cider vinegar and even drank some warm apple cider vinegar mixed with a bit of hot tea.

The apple cider vinegar is antibacterial as well which can help kill the bacteria causing the strep throat.

If the strep throat gets worse or does not go away within a week or so then see a doctor about it as it might be more serious.
