When you need to drive on rough roads you need to first reduce your speed and keep both hands on the steering wheel.

Rough roads can easily cause you to lose control of your vehicle as the rough parts of the road can grab your tires and pull you into another lane or cause you to go off the road.

Drive slower than normal on the rough roads and pay attention to any potential pot holes that may be in the road.

Pot holes and rough roads can damage your vehicles suspension and front and rear end parts of your vehicle so you need to drive slower over those rough spots and pot holes.

If you're on a four lane road that is rough on one side try driving in the other lane instead but sometimes the roads are rough no matter what lane.

Keep a spare tire with you as well because some rough roads can lead to damage of tires and cause blowouts.
