When you have a cesarean section surgery to remove the baby your abdominal muscles will not be cut.

Instead when you have a cesarean section surgery your abdominal muscles will be pulled apart so that the surgeon can gain access to the uterus.

Then after the baby is removed from your uterus the abdominal muscles will be placed back where they were and then the incision will be sealed back up.

You'll need to take it easy and rest awhile after your cesarean section surgery to allow the incision to heal.

Cesarean section surgeries should be done as a last resort when normal birth is not working or when you have other complications.

Otherwise it's best to give birth the natural way even though it's painful.
