When a person has EPI it means that the person has a Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.

The symptoms of EPI or Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency are diarrhea, gas, bloating, weight loss, abdominal pain, stomach pain, greasy stools and foul smelling stools.

If you notice any of the greasy poop, foul smelling poop, diarrhea, gas, bloating, sudden weight loss, stomach pain or abdominal pain then see a doctor about it.

EPI is a condition in which the body does not have the right amount of pancreatic enzymes to properly break down food.

So your body is not able to break down and digest food properly when you do have EPI.

Medications and other medical treatment can help with EPI or Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.
