The Dempster Highway can be dangerous to inexperienced drivers but if you have a good vehicle and lots of driving experience then the Dempster Highway is not much more dangerous than other highways.
If you've never been down the Dempster Highway you should as it's a very scenic and beautiful highway to drive down but also be away that there's many miles or kilometers between gasoline stations.
So if your vehicle does not do good one gas you need to make sure to fill up the gas tank and also carry a few or more gas cans with you to ensure you don't run out of gas.
However the Dempster Highway is also not for the faint hearted person but it's still a great drive.
Dempster Highway is a harsh and long road that can also be very lonely so you have to be careful as if you break down on the Dempster Highway you're likely not gonna be able to get any help for awhile.
Make sure you have a tool kit, make sure your vehicle is in great shape and have an air compressor, tire plug kit, spare tires etc.
