Luvs disposable diapers can and have caused some chemical burns on babies as well as toddlers skin.

However not all babies or toddlers will get chemical burns from wearing Luvs diapers.

The cause of the chemical burns from Luvs diapers is likely from the scent that Luvs diapers uses to make the diapers smell good.

Some babies and toddlers are just allergic to those chemicals and so those certain babies and toddlers will sadly get a chemical burn from those Luvs diapers.

Some other diapers can cause allergic reactions and chemical burns as well so it's not just Luvs diapers.

My own 2 year old wears Luvs diapers and they have never given him a chemical burn.

However my nephew who is 3 will get a chemical burn from the Luvs diapers so he wears Gentle Steps diapers that contain no smell.

Dollar General sells the Gentle Steps diapers which contain no chemicals or smells and are mostly plain white.

So if your kid is getting chemical burns from Luvs, Pampers or other brands of diapers then try the Gentle Steps diapers.

Gentle Steps diapers go up to a size 7 which is good for larger kids and Gentle Steps diapers although somewhat thin they swell up and absorb a lot and never has my Nephew leaked from a Gentle Steps diaper.

After I use the box of Luvs on my own 2 year old I'm gonna switch him to the Gentle Steps diapers as they seem to be more absorbent.
