No it's not against the law to carry too much cash money.

There's no legal limit as to the amount of cash that you can legally carry on you.

However just be aware that if you do carry a lot of cash on you then it opens you up to potentially being robbed or mugged.

I carry no more than $500.00 in cash and have the rest on my debit card in my bank.

Also if you carry too much cash and lose that cash then you can never get it back unless you find it.

Drug dealers are known to carry large amounts of cash so you might be investigated if pulled over and you have a large amount of cash.

But it's not against the law or illegal to carry large amounts of cash on your person.

As long as you have gotten the cash money legally then you can carry as much cash as you want.

I have carried $20,000.00 in cash to buy a house in cash before because the owner of the house wanted cash and not a bank transfer or a check.
