When taking Zoloft medication for anxiety it can take up to 1 week to 2 weeks to start seeing an improvement in your anxiety symptoms.

It took me 1 week of taking Zoloft to see most of my anxiety go away and after 2 weeks I noticed more of an improvement in my anxiety.

After a month of taking Zoloft my anxiety went away near completely and I was able to function better and was much more calm.

If you don't see an improvement in your anxiety symptoms within a month of taking the Zoloft then you should speak with your doctor.

The doctor may need to increase your dose of Zoloft or prescribe another anxiety medicine.

There are other medications that can treat anxiety but for me and most people Zoloft is indeed the best medication for treating anxiety.

I've been prescribed other medications to treat my anxiety and they helped some but no other medication has helped me with my anxiety as good as Zoloft has.

Lexapro is another good medicine for treating anxiety such as social anxiety and other anxiety disorders.

I was also prescribed Lexapro and it has helped me pretty good with my social anxiety as well as my other anxiety that I suffer from.

But it never worked as good as Zoloft has.

Your doctor can determine though which medicine would be best for your anxiety depending on the severeness of your anxiety and the type of anxiety.

Sometimes what is best for one person may not be best for the other.

Zoloft blocks the reuptake of serotonin, which means it prevents the serotonin from being taken back into the nerve cells that released it.

This results in more serotonin being available in the brain, which can help to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
