Tramadol and Norco are similar medicines but they are not the same thing.
Both Tramadol and Norco work similar to each other but they do have different ingredients.
The main difference between Tramadol and Norco is that Norco contains acetaminophen, a non-narcotic pain reliever (analgesic)contains acetaminophen, a non-narcotic pain reliever (analgesic) and Tramadol does not contain acetaminophen.
However Tramadol and Norco are both narcotic (opioid) pain relievers (analgesics) that are used to treat moderate to fairly severe pain.
But they do work differently from each other and your doctor may want to prescribe one over the other depending on your pain.
Also never take any more of a dosage than what your doctor prescribes even if the medicine is not working properly without first speaking with your doctor.
You don't want to overdose on the medicine of any kind.
