How long should black steel wood stove pipe last?

How long should the wood stove pipe that is black steel that connects the wood stove inside your house to your wood stove chimney last?

You should easily get 10 years or more from the steel single wall stove pipe as long as it doesn't get wet. Which it shouldn't if it is inside the house. You can use single wall stove pipe outside but it won't last as long in the weather.

Best to use stainless steel stove pipe outside.

I've seem some steel stove pipe that was over 50 years old in a house and it looked just like new.

Make sure you clean your stove pipe of creosote every year to prevent chimney fires.
