The amount of packages that a UPS driver delivers each day depends and varies on how many packages are being shipped.
The average amount of packages that a single UPS driver delivers on his or her route everyday is between 100 to 120 packages per day.
However the amount can change daily.
The entire UPS system and drivers deliver millions of packages everyday.
When a UPS driver gets the packages loaded onto their delivery truck they have to follow a route until they get to your house or address.
So you might get your package early in the morning, by noon or even as late as 8:00 PM depending on where you're at along their route.
UPS delivers to businesses first and then to home addresses.
UPS does leave packages at the door as long as the package or packages do not require a signature.
If the package requires no signature the UPS will leave the package in a safe place and on the UPS tracking information it will say where the package was left at.
If the package requires a signature then the UPS driver will not leave the package without a signature so if you have a package that you know requires a signature then you need to be home to sign for it.
However the UPS driver should leave a door tag that you can sign and then the UPS driver should then leave the package.
If you miss a UPS delivery and you need to sign for the package the UPS driver will leave a door hanger on your door where they will say they have been to your address but you was not there and they will return to attempt to redeliver your package.
You can also have the package held at a UPS facility where you can go to the UPS store or UPS facility and sign for and pick up the package.
Or you may also be able to sign the door tag as your signature and the UPS driver can sometimes leave the package in a safe spot.
But if there's no safe spot for the UPS driver to leave your package then they will want you to be there.
But most times I've had no trouble signing a door tag and they would leave the package.
UPS will attempt to deliver a package at least 3 times before the package gets sent back to the sender.
