Yes apple cider vinegar does kill cold sores.

The apple cider vinegar is a disinfectant as well as antiseptic and the cold sore virus which is the herpes simplex virus cannot survive the contact with the apple cider vinegar.

Just apply a bit of apple cider vinegar to the cold sore 3 to 4 times per day and it will help the cold sore go away.

Toothpaste also works to get rid of cold sores by drying the cold sores out.

Toothpaste does work on cold sores to get rid of the cold sores.

The toothpaste helps dry out the cold sore which makes the cold sore go away much sooner than it would otherwise.

Toothpaste that contains baking soda works much better at getting rid of cold sores but any toothpaste will work to get rid of your cold sore.

You can also use ice, apple cider vinegar, hydrogen peroxide etc to get rid of cold sores.

I've used toothpaste to get rid of my cold sores and it works great.

Just dab a little toothpaste on your cold sore and allow it to sit there for 20 or so minutes or just leave it on and then reapply some more toothpaste after a few hours or so.

Cold sores can be triggered by a number of different things including illness, a weak immune system, changing hormone levels, or even stress.

Other triggers of cold sores are exposure to cold wind, exposure to hot sun or even just having a cold virus.

The cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus so you have to catch the herpes simplex virus to get a cold sore.

You can also spread a cold sore to someone else if you kiss that person because the virus that causes cold sores can transfer from you to them.

Then they get infected with the herpes simplex virus which causes the cold sores.

Cold sores usually go away on their own within 1 to 2 weeks.

But you can help get rid of the cold sore by applying some toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, ice or even apple cider vinegar to the cold sore.
