Depending on how much you use your computer keyboard you should get at least 2 years out of a cheap keyboard before needing to replace it.

I find after 2 years the keys on my keyboard start sticking and get harder to press down making it hard to type as fast as I like.

I'm curious to know how you handle your keyboard? If you are a pretty aggressive person who, for example, often plays games and kicks the keyboard furiously, it's obvious that it won't last very long. Banal because you will break all the keys and all the electronics of your keyboard. It is also worth considering the fact that the keyboard can be what is accidentally spilled, but this problem can be solved by buying https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09PLK6634 . Overlays on the keyboard uses a very large number of people and, if I'm not mistaken, it really helps everyone.
