Are salads good for weight loss?

Salads are good for weight loss as long as you don't add a lot of high calorie ingredients such as meat, bacon bits etc.

If you eat a plain old salad then you can still keep your stomach full and lose weight in the process.

Eating salad alone is not enough to quickly lose weight though but salad is a good food to eat when on a weight loss diet.

When on a weight loss diet you need to eat low calorie foods and get exercise by walking, running, jogging, swimming etc.

A regular salad is pretty low in calories when compared to other foods and if you eat strictly salads and get exercise then you can lose weight doing so.

I ate only salads on my weight loss diet and by eating only salads for 6 months and exercising I lost 50 lbs of weight in the 6 months.

The key to losing weight is to exercise and eat low calorie foods and burn off more calories than you consume.

Eating Salads is good for weight loss as the salads are low in calories especially salads with no meats.

I've eaten salads on weight loss diets and lost 100 lbs of weight in a years time along with exercising.

Salads are a good meal to eat for weight loss as the salad is low in calories but yet filling as well.
