Gonorrhea is most commonly transmitted through sexual intercourse with a partner who has it.
You can also get gonorrhea through just contact with your partners genitals from your genitals.
For example if your genitals just happen to touch the infected partners genitals then you can too catch it that way.
You cannot get gonorrhea from someone who doesn't have it.
Gonorrhea is almost always transmitted through sexual intercourse however if a person has gonorrhea and you touch the person who is infected with the gonorrhea you can catch it that way as well.
You don't have to have sex to catch gonorrhea but it's the most common way to catch gonorrhea.
When you catch gonorrhea through touching it usually happens when your genitals touch the infected persons genitals.
Some people may have gonorrhea and may not even be aware of the gonorrhea they have.
So you might not know your partner has gonorrhea and then have sex with your partner and then catch it.
Then it won't be the fault of the partner because they didn't know they had the gonorrhea.
