The number 1 dog food brand that Vets recommend is Hill's Science Diet dog food.

Hill's Science diet dog food is what my dogs vet recommended and it's the same dog food that many other vets have recommended for my dog as well.

Other dog food brands that are also recommended by Vets are OriJen, Purina ProPlan, Royal Canin, Iams, Nutro Ultra and Castor & Pollux.

There are several best dog foods that are recommended by Vets and some Vets even sell dog food at the Vet Office.

The Vets office will usually sell the same dog food they recommend and believe is good for dogs.

Most of those dog foods are more expensive than other dog foods and it's okay to feed your dog cheaper dog food if that is all you can afford.

But the higher cost dog food is usually formulated to be much healthier for your dog than the cheaper dog food brands.
