My aunt works as a nurse in a hospital and deals with dead people around once or twice per week.

Nurses sometimes only wipe down parts of the body such as the hands, face, arms etc.

Then the nurse covers the dead body up with a sheet or puts the body into a body bag and then wheels the dead body down to the basement of the hospital.

In the basement of the hospital is a morgue with freezers for keeping dead bodies.

Then after the family is notified and a funeral home is contacted the funeral home will come and pick up the dead body.

The funeral home will then do most of the cleaning of the dead body and prepare the dead body for either cremation or burial.

The nurses usually have to hurry with getting the dead body down to the morgue and then get back to work soon so they can treat live patients.
