Yes dead bodies can make noises which sound like moans, groans, and even squeaks.
The sounds are made from air escaping the dead body and also because of the break down of tissues that create gas.
That gas build up in the body can create noises.
I used to work in a funeral home helping to prepare dead bodies for cremation and funerals and I used to hear noises from the dead body quite a bit.
It freaked me out so bad that I decided to quit the funeral home job after a few years.
I just could not take it listening to those sounds as it was creepy to me.
I'd be working on a dead body but feel like I was working on a live body.
