My 2 year old toddler gets his diaper changed every 3 hours to every 4 hours.

It depends on how often he wets and sometimes he wets a little at a time and sometimes he holds his pee in and wets every few hours.

Usually my 2 year old boy goes through a diaper every 2 to 3 hours but sometimes he can go 4 hours without a diaper change.

As long as you're changing your toddlers diaper every 3 hours to every 4 hours you're doing okay.

Disposable diapers now can hold a lot of pee and keep their skin dry.

There's no need to change the diaper just because it's a little wet.

For example if we're on a road trip and stop after 2 hours of driving and the diaper is only a little wet then I just leave him in the diaper and wait another 1 hour to 2 hours and then change it at the next rest stop.

Poop diapers should be changed immediately.

However a few months ago my 2 year old and us went on a road trip and he pooped soon after I changed him and we were on the interstate and had nowhere to stop for at least 1 hour.

So he had to sit in that poop diaper for 1 hour.

It did him no harm but we had to roll the windows down to get some air in.
