To get sticky oil off a pan fill your sink with some boiling water and add some Dawn Dish Soap.

Then allow the pan to soak in the sink with the Dawn Dish Soap for 20 to 30 minutes.

After the pan sits in the soapy water for 20 to 30 minutes you can then use a scrub brush with some baking soda to help clean the sticky oil off the pan.

You can also use some Easy Off Oven Cleaner that you can spray onto the pan or into the pan that has the sticky oil and the Easy Off Oven Cleaner will help get rid of the sticky oil from the pan.

Using a degreaser such as Purple Power can also help remove oil or sticky oil and grease from pans as well.

Just pour some of the degreaser into the sink of hot or warm water and allow the pan to soak for awhile.

Then also add some degreaser to the pan and use a sponge and the sticky oil should easily come off the pan.
