Yes in most places landlords are responsible for shoveling snow from sidewalks and driveways for the tenant.

You can hire lawn care services to keep the sidewalks shoveled if you're a landlord and in some places including Wichita Kansas the Property Owner or Landlord must shovel or remove snow from public sidewalks in front of their house or face a fine.

I used to live in Wichita a few years ago and got a fine for not shoveling snow in front of my house.

If you cannot get the landlord to shovel the snow you can usually get some kid or teenager to shovel the snow from the sidewalk or your driveway for $15.00 to $20.00

Usually kids and teenagers are looking for something to do and will gladly shovel the sidewalk or driveway for a little money.
